Aldi unveils a massive giveaway to celebrate being named Which? Cheapest Supermarket for the fourth consecutive year.

One lucky shopper will win an incredible £20,000 — enough to cover four years of groceries!

Additionally, Aldi earned the title of the UK’s Cheapest Supermarket for December last year.

Supermarket Aldi is celebrating its title as Which? Cheapest Supermarket for the fourth consecutive year with an incredible giveaway: £20,000 in vouchers, equivalent to four years’ worth of grocery shopping.

Which?’s annual price comparison revealed Aldi to be, on average, £131.13 cheaper per month than Waitrose throughout 2024. Having previously earned this accolade in 2021, 2022, and 2023, Aldi was also named the UK’s Cheapest Supermarket every month in 2024.

To mark this achievement, Aldi is offering one lucky shopper the chance to win its grand giveaway. To enter, simply email aldicheapestsupermarket@clarioncomms.co.uk with your full name, age, and postal address by 20th January 2025.

Julie Ashfield, Aldi’s Managing Director of Buying, said:
“This recognition highlights Aldi’s dedication to delivering exceptional savings and value to our customers. We’re proud to consistently offer top-quality products at the lowest prices across the UK. With grocery costs averaging £5,000 annually, our giveaway provides one winner the chance to save on their Aldi shopping for up to four years!”

The Cheapest Supermarket title, awarded by Which?, is based on the cost of a typical basket of goods. Aldi continues to lead the competition, with Which? naming it the cheapest supermarket for December 2024. Aldi was found to be £29.54 cheaper than Waitrose and £11.84 cheaper than Sainsbury’s for a comparable basket.
