Twenty-eight banks with assets between $3 billion and $10 billion earned a spot on American Banker’s 2025 Best Banks to Work For list. Overall, this year’s ranking includes 90 banks.

The list of banks in this size range spans from coast to coast and up to Alaska, and includes several lenders that have recently announced or completed acquisitions.

The latter group includes Hyannis, Massachusetts-based Mutual Bancorp, which intends to close its acquisition of Bluestone Bank in Raynham, Massachusetts, next year, as well as Capital Bank in Rockville, Maryland, which completed its $66 million purchase of Raleigh, North Carolina-based Integrated Financial Holdings about a year ago.
