  • Both of these cards have the same introductory APR offer for both purchases and balance transfers.

    The Bank of America Travel Rewards offers a 0 percent intro APR on balance transfers made in the first 60 days and on purchases for the first 15 billing cycles after account opening. A 3 percent intro balance transfer fee also applies during those first 60 days, but after that, it rises to 4 percent.

    After the intro period ends, the card’s 18.24% – 28.24% Variable APR on purchases and balance transfers kicks in.

    In comparison, the Discover it Miles also offers a 0 percent intro APR on purchases and balance transfers for 15 months. The offer also comes with an intro balance transfer fee of 3 percent, but it rises to 5 percent after the date specified in your card agreement. After the intro period, the card’s 18.24% – 27.24% Variable APR kicks in.
