Check out the companies making headlines after the bell : United Airlines — The airline popped nearly 7% after posting first-quarter adjusted earnings of 91 cents per share, while analysts polled by LSEG had expected 76 cents in earnings per share. However, United Airlines’ revenue of $13.21 billion came in below the $13.26 billion forecast. Shares of Delta Air Lines added 4% and Southwest Airlines rose almost 2% in sympathy. Interactive Brokers — Shares slipped 5% after the electronic trading platform reported first-quarter earnings of $1.88 per share, excluding items, while analysts had expected earnings of $1.92 per share, according to LSEG. The company’s adjusted revenue of $1.40 billion was in line with forecasts. Interactive Brokers also announced a four-for-one stock split and a dividend hike of 7 cents to 32 cents per share. J.B. Hunt Transport Services — The transportation giant fell 6% despite posting a first-quarter beat on both the top and bottom lines. However, both J.B. Hunt’s revenue and operating income fell year over year. Omnicom Group — The media stock shed more than 2% despite its first-quarter adjusted earnings of $1.70 per share exceeding the $1.62 per share analysts polled by LSEG had expected. Nvidia — Shares shed 5% after Nvidia said that it will record a $5.5 billion charge tied to exporting H20 graphics processing units to China, among other destinations. The company said in a filing that the U.S. government told Nvidia it would require a license to export the chips to several countries, including China.
