Here’s what CNBC TV’s producers were watching on Monday and what’s on the radar for Tuesday’s session. Record breakers Tomorrow morning our focus is on what’s next for U.S. stock benchmarks at record levels. Our coverage starts with Frank Holland on ” Worldwide Exchange ” at 5 a.m.ET. It’s worth getting up for. The Nasdaq Composite , Nasdaq 100 and S & P 500 all hit new highs today. The Nasdaq is now up 4% in September, 15% in the past three months. The Nasdaq 100 is up 3.75% in September, 12% in the past three months. The S & P 500 is up 2.4% in September, 11% in the last three months. .SPX YTD bar SPX year to date United Airlines CNBC’s Auto and Airline Reporter Phil LeBeau will speak with United Airlines CEO Scott Kirby live on ” Squawk Box ” in the 6 a.m. hour. Shares of United are 10% from the 52-week high hit back in January, but they’ve soared 41% in the past three months. Delta and American also last hit highs January. Delta is down 16.5% since then but is up 24% in three months. American is 34% from the high; up 21% in three months. Rivian LeBeau also scored an interview with Rivian CEO RJ Scaringe in the 9 a.m. hour of ” Squawk on the Street .” The stock is 21% from the May 20 high. Shares are up 11% in the past month. RIVN 1M mountain RIVN 1-mo chart Retail sales The data from August comes out during “Squawk Box” at 8:30 a.m. The experts are looking for a 0.3% rise. The SPDR S & P Retail ETF (XRT) is just off last week’s high and up 4% in September. In the past month, American Eagle Outfitters is the top stock in the retail ETF up 51%. Build-a-Bear Workshop is up 36% in the past month. Macy’s is also up 36% in the past month. Groupon , Dollar Tree and Target are at the bottom of the retail pile in the last month. Tomorrow on ‘Squawk Box’ Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent will be with Becky Quick, Joe Kernen and Andrew Ross Sorkin with a lot on the agenda, from rates to the future of the Federal Reserve.
